Had an incredible time! Learnt all about Jesmonite and all the steps to create a trinket tray that had a terrazzo effect. Really great instructor who guided us, with detailed notes and was always happy to answer all our questions. Can’t wait to have the trays posted to us!
A first class course, friendly and approachable with small class sizes to ask questions and receive help if needed. I would definitely recommend the resin basics course to anyone thinking of trying a resin project.
Very enjoyable course and a good introduction to the techniques involved.
I did the bread board class and I'd highly recommend it. Richard was a fantastic teacher and had structured the class brilliantly with very little dead time. I really liked the way he showed us all of the available machinery and left us to it unless we needed help and the product at the end was something I'm really happy with. I'd definitely book again on future courses.
Instructor was excellent. Incredibly knowedgable and gave a lot of positive reinforcement during the session. Feel far more confident with Power Tools as a result of my class here. Will definitely be back next month for another session!
This was a very informative, enjoyable, and satisfying workshop. Richard was a great instructor: clear, concise, and knowledgeable while allowing freedom to experiment and to learn by doing.
I did the ‘Make a Bread Board, for beginners!’ class and had a great time. I am a 100% beginner and found the instructor very helpful, and he guided us through it all safely. There was enough structure to make sure you end up with a great breadboard but enough freedom that everyone’s was unique. Would definitely recommend!
The coffee table workshop was excellent. It was really instructive and we were given a good foundation to try using epoxy resin again by ourselves. I’m also very happy with how my table came out!
I really appreciate the initiative with this workshop. I’m quitting smoking after 20 years, and today, since I stopped, was the first time I felt alive and happy again. The workshop was amazing, with such great vibes and a wonderful opportunity to meet new people. I work in hospitality, putting in 50 hours a week in a very stressful environment. Being at the workshop made me feel so relaxed, helping me forget about work and life for a while and simply enjoy the moment. It has motivated me to continue living my life in the best way possible. Thank you, Richard and Nikki, for making this experience happen!
I did both the Beginners Resin course and the coffee table course and loved both of them. Richard is incredibly knowledgeable and the classes are fun and relaxed whilst also given the opportunity to get as creative as you feel comfortable with. Thank you The River Shop!!
