An absolutely outstanding class. Richard is very knowledgeable, patient, thorough and super nice.
Had great fun making my Wildwood Bench last Saturday. It's now sitting in my hall, as somewhere to sit when putting on your shoes. The workshop was great, good instructions and fun using the power tools. Would definiately recommend a visit to The Rivershop, lots of different courses
Two amazing days. Real skills learnt and an amazing table at the end of it! All taught with great camaraderie and a sense of fun. Time became irrelevant. A joy to utterly lose oneself in the project. Gotta do more!
I had a great time on my Epoxy resin course, learn a few things and know there is more to learns so will be booking up future courses.
Part 2 is an opportunity to see how your epoxy resin casting in part 1 came out and to proceed to achieve the finished item. Under expert tuition you will use a variety of woodworking machines to complete the project , all done in a safe, supervised environment. Highly recommended whatever your age or ability.
Amazing, loved it!
Brilliant course. Something for everyone to enjoy, as proved by the mix of people attending. Over the 2 classes Richard guides you through the different stages to the finished piece, using various tools and techniques along the way. All done in a safe and friendly environment. Highly recommended for all.
I had so much fun at this workshop! Feeling the power of the tools in my hands gave me a real confidence boost, and it was so satisfying to create something from scratch. It was also great to meet other people who love trying new things and learning new skills. The whole experience was inspiring, and I even rediscovered a hidden talent, one that I definitely want to keep exploring and growing. This workshop wasn’t just about learning a skill; it was about feeling capable, creative, and empowered. I’m taking this experience with me for life!
Had an incredible time! Learnt all about Jesmonite and all the steps to create a trinket tray that had a terrazzo effect. Really great instructor who guided us, with detailed notes and was always happy to answer all our questions. Can’t wait to have the trays posted to us!
A first class course, friendly and approachable with small class sizes to ask questions and receive help if needed. I would definitely recommend the resin basics course to anyone thinking of trying a resin project.
