Helen is a textile designer, based at the Chocolate Factory studios N16, London. She hand screen prints designs for a variety of interior accessories, sold via her online shop and teaches screen printing workshops in small groups from her fully equipped print studio. .

She has over 20 years experience in screen printing and with an MA in mixed media/embroidery at the RCA her work also has a stitched quality and is the signature to her original lampshade range.
Helen's teaching experience is extensive having worked for several years at a crafting venue in Islington - she enjoyed teaching screen printing, lampshade making and machine embroidery to a lively, sociable after work crowd. She runs occasional after school and holiday workshops and has taken print workshops into local primary schools.

Helen is now pleased to be offering beginners screen printing classes from her fully equipped print studio for both adults and children.

Children are incredibly curious and receptive to the hands on experience of screen printing and Helen is enjoying the opportunity to give back to the younger generation of creatives, eager to learn.

For adult workshops - this is a chance to try something new - have fun with friends and get creative without fear of messing up - screen printing is all about surprise and uncertainty with some amazing results, whether intentional or not and it's all good stuff.
