We absolutely loved this class and would totally recommend! Mandisa was great, she gave us a little demo and instruction but mostly let us get on with it, but was always around to help and give us some handy tips. I found the booking process on here to be a bit confusing but Mandisa’s communication is great and things were sorted quickly. We can’t wait to see how our work turns out! Thanks so much for this!

Sarah Lewin - studentVery relaxing time and was guided through various techniques clearly and patiently. Would definitely recommend and go myself again.
Samantha Gonzalez - studentI really enjoyed this class. Mandisa was very welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. I liked the loose structure that allowed one to play. There was still someone experienced there to instruct when necessary.
Amy Zaaiman - studentSuch a great way to spend a Sunday evening, which for me can often be filled with Monday anxiety and boring work prep. Mandisa was welcoming, easy-going and clearly super talented. She whizzed through a really helpful demo before letting us get on with our own work. She had loads of tips, ideas and suggestions - and was really great at explaining the processes. The hand building was challenging but very therapeutic and I cant recommend it enough to anyone wanting to give clay work a go. Thanks so much Mandisa! Katie x
Katie McGovern - studentGreat workshop with a lovely teacher. Learned the basic techniques for hand building with the freedom to make whatever you fancy. Thanks!
India Allin - studentMandisa was lovely, helpful and the class was so much fun! Can't wait to pick our pieces up!
Miranda McCarthy - studentAbsolutely brilliant time was had by all 6 of us during this class. Mindisa was a fab teacher and also lovely to spend our Sunday afternoon with. Mindisa was super knowledgeable and very patient with us as well! The 6 of us chose the class (as complete beginners!) for a chilled sunday afternoon experimenting and learning a new skill. However, I'd say that the class would be suitable for all levels of experience and whatever the occasion, whether it be a birthday celebration, Hen party, or to acquire a new/ more advanced skill.
Kate - studentWe did this for a company social and had a great time! We were all beginners but Mandisa walked us through and helped with everything.
Daisy Butler - studentThis workshop was so much fun! A big group of us came and all had a great time - it was really well organised, we got given a tonne of help and she put up with us asking a million questions. Loved it x

About Us
'Stuff and Fings' was born out of Mandisa's love of tinkering with, well, 'Stuff and Fings'. Playing with textures and shapes, art and design, experimentation and fun are at the core of all things, 'Stuff and Fings'.
Having studied 'Surface Pattern Design' at Jacob Kramer college in Leeds, clay was never a medium she'd ever seriously considered, until recently. As a mother (to a young child), looking for something new to get her teeth into and to fit around the busy school schedule. She absolutely fell in love with clay on her first pottery taster workshop.
Ever since…
